I have been working on this scarf off and on for about 6 months. I finally finished it!
I used size 10 cotton thread, Bernat. I modified their free scarf pattern that was on the back. I finished the outside with beads that I bought from JoAnn's. I think it gives it a nice touch and it helps with the shaping.
